After three months of accumulating props and pieces for the shoot of Danger Museum's ‘An Clar Glas’ (The Grey Album), a re staging of the Sgt Pepper cover in Peacock’s gallery…
Everything must go!

Amongst the items for sale:
Premier bass marching drum, Norwegian Naval jackets and hats, Complete set of Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s outfits, Wooden rocking chair, Two tons of sand, pre-shuffled, Original 1960s editions of The Beatles Magazine, Wheel Barrel, Heavy-Duty Shovel, Fresh Homer Simpson Slippers, Set of white plastic garden chairs, Limited edition Beatles Sgt. We had been doing Friday event every other week as part of Danger Museum's LOCALE residency.

From August to November Danger Museum conducts the third LOCALE residency at Peacock Vsiual Arts in Aberdeen. During their residency Danger Museum investigates ideas of community, pop culture and the art institution by looking at the Beatles and in particular the Sgt.Pepper’s album. The project develops through events, talks and photo shoots, culminating in a local version of the iconic album cover.



LAST FRIDAY EVENT: Danger Museum's 'Hello, Aberdeen'

They have asked us about the Beatles and our art scene. Now they give you the chance to find out what they have been up to.

Øyvind Renberg and Miho Shimizu of Danger Museum, our third LOCALE artists in residence, tell us about their past projects, international residencies, how they work together and get by as artists. Getting to know Aberdeen and its people, Danger Museum aim to create a local version of the iconic album cover of Sgt. Pepper's.

Sgt. Pepper opened this years' Live 8, Elton John followed up with Children of the Revolution. He is captured performing that very same tune with Bolan - and Ringo - on this 1972 rock classic. If you are in Aberdeen, don't miss this screening of it!
