DANGER MUSEUM DIARY SERIES
PEANUT CIRCUIT
In the future we will upload more material from the exhibition Peanut
Circuit at the Vigeland Museum. Amongst this there will be a
collection of transcribes from interviews with people from the Norwegian
art scene, currently presented in sound at the museum, and a net
conversation with the curator Dorthe Abildgaard. |

Peanut Circuit is a collaboration
between Danger Museum and Arve Rød for the Norwegian Sculpture
Biennial 2003 in the Vigeland Museum in Oslo. The project uses the
history and circumstances that surrounded the sculptor Gustav Vigeland,
as a backdrop for an exploration of the development and dynamics
of the Norwegian cultural climate. The exhibition takes the shape
of a circle where various players in the art world are given a say
through interviews conducted by Danger Museum, mixed with other
visual and textual elements, such as a fountain of free peanuts,
a sofa shaped as a giant peanut, hand sewn posters and relics from
the project's development.
